George W. Campbell

George W. Campbell was born in Schuyler county, Ill., in 1852. He is the namesake of his father, who died in 1865; his mother is at present the wife of Squire Gould, of Adams county, Ill. Her maiden name was Esther Harney, and she married Mr. Gould in 1876. Mr. C. was educated in common schools of Augusta, and resides on section 30. September 6, 1873, he married Elizabeth Worman, and they are members of the United Brethren Church. His father was of German descent. He is a farmer and a Democrat.
