E. K. Boman, farmer, sec. 2; P. O., Plymouth; is a son of James and Arcade
(Sturgis) Boman. He was born in this county April 13, 1826, and was the eldest of 11 children; was married in this county in 1852
to Mary Wade, who was born in Tennessee in 1834, and they are the parents of 8 children – Allie, Fannie H., Henry C., Paul
K., Edward H., Benjamin R., Kittie F. and Ira L. Mr. B. has been School Director and Road Commissioner; was in the Mormon war; is a
member of the Masonic fraternity and of the Christian Church.
