S. G. Swanson
Biography

S. G. Swanson, farmer, sec. 5; P. O., Augusta; was born in Sweden in 1845,
and came to this county in 1860. In 1875 he married Anna Hillock, of Wisconsin, daughter of Nelson and Emma (Powell) Hillock, and
they have one child, Lewella, born July 3, 1877. Mr. S. owns 160 acres of fine farm land, is a member of the A. O. U. W., and also
of the Lutheran Church. The father of Mrs. S. was one of the pioneers of this county, having settled here in 1835, and he was all
through the Mormon war. Her mother was born in 1811, and is still living.
