William E. H. Lemon, physician and surgeon, was born in Pennsylvania in 1848. He
commenced the practice of medicine in this State, in Jacksonvile, in 1868, and graduated in 1871; he settled in Augusta in 1877,
where he commands a good practice. He was married in this county to Adel A. Gordon, daughter of George and Louisa Gordon, both
natives of New York they have 5 children, 3 living – William, Frederick and Bertha. The Doctor owns one lot, with dwelling
and office. He is a Methodist and a Republican.
